An Accommodating Venue

While the helpful staff within Roppongi Hills is an important factor in driving business to Tokyo, the entire local establishment has recently done more to attract this market. Michael Baseman, president of Japan Event Services, based in Aventura, Florida, recently hosted a group of about 100 in Tokyo. He says he's seen an increase in requests, for information about Japan. " In the last couple of years, Japan in general, and Tokyo specifically, has begun to open its doors to visitors," Baseman says. "In the past it was next to impossible to hold off-site events at any of the amazing special venues that Japan has. Now that is changing and interest in Tokyo and Japan has definitely picked up."
